A\B Testing and Multivariate Testing for Widgets

Now you can finally AB test your widgets in Personizely. You can have up to five variations of your widget with different designs, elements, and steps. You can also AB test the trigger so you can learn which trigger works better for a certain use case. Besides the AB testing tooling itself we've built a detailed reporting system that allows you to understand which variation is a winning one and to see what's the statistical significance of each result. Try it out and let us know about your experience and results.

Products sync from Shopify

Previously when a product was changed in Shopify, you had to resync/re-add your products in your Personizely widgets - no more. All the changes are automatically synchronized now, including the price, the title, and images.

Better preview iframe

When previewing the widgets, the website preview was not being displayed for some server configuration due to iframe policy settings. We've reworked the preview window and it now supports most sites.

Actions on timer end

You can now set the widget to perform certain actions like redirect or widget close once the timer is exceeding its time limit.

Preview CSS in Personalization editor

If you have custom CSS for your Personalization variations - you will now see how it affects the page directly in the preview window.

Convertkit integration

A new integration has landed in Personizely. You can now sync contacts with Convertkit while also being able to identify contacts visiting from a newsletter as known visitors to show or hide widgets/personalizations from them.

Better phone number validation and handling

Phone number validation is no longer done directly in the widget using a regexp. Now the backend is automatically detecting whether a country code is prefixed and if not it is going to prepend it by detecting visitor's geolocation.

Images can now have automations fired on click

You can now trigger automations when someone clicks an image element.

Shopify customer tags targeting

You can now target Shopify logged-in customers by their customer tags.

Event fired when a widget shows up

A new DOM event is now being triggered when a campaign or widget has an event performed on it. You can listen to it using the following piece of code:
